Watercolour Florals and Brush Lettering is a fun and creative watercolour course that allows participants to learn basic and intermediate techniques such as watercolour florals and brush-lettering. Participants will also design a variety of cards, from postcards, greeting cards, name cards to bookmarks. Florals designs to be included are roses, cherry blossoms, sunflowers, carnations, peonies, and seasonal themed florals.

Trainer's Profile

A/Prof Mabel Yap

Adj A/P Mabel Yap, is a medical doctor and public health specialist with a PhD in human nutrition. Her day job revolves around standards in training and assessing healthcare professionals in Singapore.

Her passion is promoting wellness and healing, especially to those in the caring professions, through teaching mindfulness and art. She is trained as an MBSR teacher at Brown School of Public Health and Mindful Self Compassion teacher at the Centre for Mindful Self Compassion.

Ms Tan Ching Ching

Ching Ching holds a specialist diploma in Arts Education from National Institution of Education, and a certificate in Western Art from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. She conducted workshops using watercolour and received positive feedback on her classes. Creative and full of new ideas, attending her classes is always enjoyable and engaging. She also conduct other workshops such as Batik Painting, glass painting and pottery. She receives the Certificate of Participation (Children's Art and Craft for Teachers & Parents) from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Certificate in Western Art from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Specialist Diploma in Arts Education from National Institute of Education.

Ms Kathleen Wah Yiok Yin

Kathleen is a talented artist that works mainly on watercolour. She loves to explore all kinds of colourful mediums and found herself to have great interest in florals. Recreating what she observes in nature and transforming those inspirations into watercolour art pieces.
