Mindfulness in Parenting

Children go through lots of changes as they become adolescents and teenagers. Increasingly, they face more challenges navigating a complex and ever-changing world. Many of them develop anxiety due to stress from multiple sources. With so much influence from the media and friends, our teens could develop values that are different from ours, which may not serve them well. Parenting thus becomes increasingly challenging. A mindful parenting approach helps parents to acquire skills to better engage teenagers, and develop a close and lasting relationship with them.
