About the Programme/Event

Hear from some of the photographers who are participating in the Tales of Chinatown* photo exhibition. Feel the evocative photos from the exhibition come to life as the photographers take you on a thrilling photowalk through the very streets showcased in their art. Immerse yourself in the essence of Chinatown's soul and experience the photo locales through your own unique perspective.

*Tales of Chinatown is a mesmerising photo exhibition held at library@chinatown from 23 Nov 2023 - 19 Jan 2024 that breathes life into the tales and traditions of the vibrant Chinatown area.

Participants will be required to walk around Chinatown for this programme. Please ensure that you are dressed comfortably and are in fit and healthy condition to participate.

About Red Photos

Red Photos is a group of photography enthusiasts from Singapore who come from different backgrounds but have a shared passion for history and culture. They come together to capture life through their lenses, taking real and raw photos that showcase the beauty of everyday life. Through their work, Red Photos hopes to inspire others to appreciate the charm of the world around them and encourage them to be more aware of the rich history and culture that surround them. They strive to use photography to bridge cultural divides and bring people together.

All participants are required to register for a ticket. Each ticket admits 1 person only. Please present your ticket when you enter the library and the event venue.
Arrive 10 mins before the session commences. Seats of late attendees may be given to those in the waitlist.
NLB reserves the right to deny entry to participants who do not abide by the ground rules.
