About the Programme

Being on board the sustainability train can be hard if your household isn’t ready to hop on yet. At this session, our librarian, Faiezah, will explore Jen Gale’s The Sustainable(ish) Living Guide and discover tips on how you can kickstart a sustainable lifestyle for your family.

Hear as well from UnPackt’s co-founder, Ms Florence Tay, on how you can make simple changes to your daily routine to help you adopt a green lifestyle. From the food we eat at home to cleaning products at home, this talk will provide simple solutions to a seemingly difficult journey.

About The Sustainable Chapter

Through book discussion and conversations with community partners, this series aims to explore topics on sustainability and offer useful tips and tricks for those hoping to embark on a more sustainable lifestyle.

About the Speaker

Florence Tay, co-founder of UnPackt, is on a mission. A passionate advocate for eco-friendliness, the 36-year-old has always believed in reducing unnecessary food andpackaging waste. After coming across an online video about the zero-waste lifestyle, Florence realised that she finally had a label to encapsulate her beliefs. Inspired, and seeing the need for more local zero-waste options, she started UnPackt with her friend and co-founder Jeff Lam.
