About the Programme

Drawing 3D objects is as easy as using the right tool for the job – in this case, a 3D pen! A 3D pen melts plastic filament that solidifies once it’s cooled, allowing a user to create anything that they might imagine. Like with any other drawing tool, a few simple techniques can be used to build up your skills.By the end of this workshop, you will be able to do the following:

  • Practise basic layering techniques with a 3D pen;
  • Create an object using 3D Pens and Templates;
  • Create an assembly of more than one part and attach them together with a 3D pen; and
  • Safely use and operate a 3D pen.

The workshop’s contents will be interactive and hands-on, with activities meant to build your knowledge. No supplies or materials are required, and you’ll be able to bring home your 3D pen creations as well.

This workshop is provided for those aged 50 and above.
