About Founders' Memorial
The Founders’ Memorial will be an integrated gallery and garden experience at Bay East Garden. It is slated to open in 2028 and the groundbreaking ceremony was held on 5 June 2024.
The Memorial commemorates how independent Singapore came to be and honours the founding values, such as multiculturalism and openness, that continue to anchor us as a nation today. It seeks to inspire Singaporeans to build the nation's future together.
