NOTE: This is a four-part workshop, participants must be able to attend all 4 sessions on 4, 7, 11, and 14 March 2022.
About the Programme
As you age, you accumulate a wealth of stories through various life experiences and people that you meet. Discover how you can turn these experiences into an engaging oral story through the use of storytelling strategies, and share your life lessons and values with others.
In this four-part workshop (4, 7, 11 and 14 March 2022), Storytellers Wong Swee Yean and Anamika Bhati will guide you through a process of reminiscence to recall memories and share them. You will learn the basics of how to craft and present a personal story as well as how to make audio recordings with your own mobile device.
Participants will need to bring along their mobile device for the workshop.
About the Series
The Time Of Your Life (TOYL) programme series features informative talks, creative workshops, book clubs, and learning communities for those aged 50 and above. Seniors can expect to stay relevant with these programmes that cover a wide range of topics such as health, personal finance, technology, and the arts.
NOTE: Registration is only approved if your myLibrary ID is verified.

- All participants are required to register for a ticket. Each ticket admits 1 person only.
- Arrive 10 mins before the session commences. Seats of attendees who are late may be given to those on the waitlist.
- Please keep your mask on at all times and maintain a safe distance from others.
- NLB reserves the right to deny entry to participants who do not abide by the ground rules.
