About the Programme

"Befriending the self" is a transformative practice that is centred around nurturing a compassionate and non-judgmental relationship with yourself. In a world often marked by self-criticism, unrealistic expectations, and harsh inner voices, this practice offers a counterbalance. It involves embracing yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you extend to your loved ones.

In this talk, you will learn to:

  • Acknowledge your strengths, weaknesses, and imperfections without condemnation;
  • Foster emotional resilience and a healthier self-esteem; and
  • Enhance overall well-being, mental health, and your capacity to form deeper, more meaningful connections with others.
