About the Series

 

Live Well. Leave Well Professional Series aims to create a safe space for dialogue where matters relating to palliative care are discussed openly between the professionals and the audience. Learn what it is like to care for the terminally ill patients as well as the importance of having end-of-life care discussion with your loved ones. In this season, you’ll hear from professionals such as doctors, nurses, social workers, art therapists, music therapists and spiritual care professionals.

About the Speaker

 

Neela works as a registered nurse for 22 years. She works a nurse clinician in the Division of Supportive and Palliative Care for past 11years. She obtained her Master of Health Science (Education) and Specialist Diploma in Palliative Care Nursing as well as Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Gerontology).  She has been supporting patients and their care givers on their cancer journey. She believes the best teachers are patients and care givers, learning different perspective in life.
