About the Programme
In this accompanying workshop to CANVAS/S: Augmented Reality Art, visual artist Almostasthma will be sharing about her art practice, some of her previous works and how her experience as a digital designer and her exploration into different artforms informs her current practice. In this workshop, she will demonstrate how to create your very own digital illustrations and make it into an AR filter.
Participants will be able to unleash their inner child and creativity skills to create cute and aesthetic illustration and frames via photoshop and have it come alive on their screen using MetaSpark. By the end of this 2-hour workshop, they will have an AR filter of their own to use, share and explore the surroundings with. This workshop would require participants to bring their own laptop and download Spark AR to create their works.
Important to Note
Participants are to bring their own laptop, download the latest Spark AR application (it is free but requires a Facebook account) before the workshop, link their existing Facebook and Instagram account to Meta and have some existing knowledge of basic design application. Participants are also encouraged to bring their drawing tablets (if any) to draw directly and to switch between applications.
Sample files will be provided once participants signed up via email.
