Silver Friend Befrienders
Through the creative use of simple make-up sessions, photo-taking, story-telling, scrapbooking and electronic scrapbooking, volunteers will befriend residents of nursing homes by listening to their life's stories and provide encouraging conversation with them. The products of their creative activities will served as reminiscent momentos that bring comfort and joy to the beneficiaries, and improve their mental health.
You will be engaged, enriched and enabled to serve the community through befriending activities.
