This workshop will start you on the journey to use your voice more purposefully. This journey will empower you with a greater understanding of both the technical and expressive applications of the human voice. In this course, you will learn basic vocal techniques such as breathing exercises, vocal warm-ups, vocal workouts, and ear training over a major scale. You will also learn about vocal performances and will be coached on rhythm, tempo, diction, phrasing, and pitch.

Rahimah Rahim
An icon in Singapore’s music scene, Rahimah Rahim has represented the country in international song festivals, including Taiwan’s Golden Bell Awards. A former child actress, Rahimah’s singing career took off internationally when she won Japan’s Kimi Koso Star Competition in 1974. Although she retired from singing in 1989, the bubbly Rahimah continues to share her infectious love for music on special occasions and now, through voice coaching workshops at WINGS. Rahimah has released 12 albums and had a major role in the 2015 Royston Tan’s musical-comedy, 3688.
