Making a Designer Cheeseboard

In this workshop, learners will learn to design and construct a designer cheese/cutting board. They will learn to select the appropriate type of wood for this project and acquire the basic wood-cutting techniques, fabrication, sanding and finishing. They will learn to use hand tools, woodworking power tools and accessible accessories according to safety procedures. Learners may also opt to have personalized laser engraving applied on their cheese/cutting boards. This course is suitable for learners with no prior knowledge of working with wood.

Clifford Tailford
Clifford comes with a vast experience and knowledge in the areas of making and working in a workshop environment. He is a master in the trade of furniture making and he had organised the set-up of the 3D workshops at Temasek Polytechnic, LASALLE SIA College of the Arts as well as the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Professionally, he was the Chief for Staging at the then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation and was in charge of the many set set-ups and changes of popular and memorable local television productions.Reviews on Course
