DIY Tempeh Making

Tempeh is a fermented, high protein plant-based food. Participants will learn how to make traditional tempeh professionally and the nutritional properties and health benefits of tempeh. There will be a demonstration and hands-on session to teach participants how to use tempeh as food at home and as a chef in a professional kitchen.

Ajuntha Anwari is the founder of Medicine Woman Asia whose mission is to empower women through wellbeing education and leadership. A trainer in the art of plant medicines and phyto-nutrition, Ajuntha incorporates them in the food we eat for the management of our health. Ajuntha who is ACTA certified also has a Diploma in Horticulture from School of Horticulture, Singapore Botanic Gardens and a Specialist Diploma in Health Promotion from Nanyang Polytechnic.
