This course aims to equip seniors with techniques to divert food waste from incineration to grow edible mushrooms. By the end of the course, participants will learn about various types of fungi, determine their edibility and nutritional benefits and prepare a mushroom substrate.

Leong William holds a deep mushrooms cultivation certificate & a medicinal mushroom cultivation certificate. He has great experience in growing varieties of edible and medicinal mushrooms. Currently, he manages and own a one Rai mushroom cultivation centre in Thailand, Phuket.
