This program is a progression from Skills for Life-Diabetes and it allows you to immerse yourself in learning to live well with diabetes. It will take you on an interactive journey that will help you to understand how stress, diet and exercise can affect your diabetes. Lee Ting Yuan is a Diabetes Nurse Educator (DNE) at the Diabetes Centre in Admiralty Medical Centre. As a DNE, she guides, counsels, and educate patients on how to best manage their diabetes. She also conducts education programs during her course of work. Ting Yuan graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Nursing and from University of Adelaide with a Bachelor in Nursing.
Seow Vi Vien (Dietitian)
Our Diabetes Nurse Educator (DNE) holds a Diploma in Nursing with experience in providing support and education for people with Diabetes. As a DNE, she guides, counsels, motivate and educate patients on how to best manage their diabetes. Our Dietitian holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics with clinical experience in outpatient & also inpatient settings. She also is experienced in one-to-one counselling, group facilitation in interest groups or small group settings, conducting empowering and health advocating workshops; group talk at workplace health on diet-disease management.Lee Ting Yuan

Our Diabetes Nurse Educator (DNE) is a Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board and has obtained Specialist Diploma in diabetes education and management or equivalent. She has prior experience in patient care in the various health care settings and has at least 3 years’ experience in Diabetes Centre.
