Dementia II: Care and Support
This workshop equips participants with knowledge and insights into dementia - disease process, signs and symptoms, and impact on persons with dementia and their caregivers. They will acquire skills and techniques to care for persons with dementia in their activities of daily living (ADLs) and enhance their quality of life. They will learn self-care techniques and useful community resources for support.

Sandra Foo Soon Jong
Sandra Foo has over 10 years of training and facilitation experience specialising in elder-caregiving and befriending programmes. She conducts public health talks, develops elder caregiving training material and trains caregivers and befrienders.
