Decoupage (Level 1)

Decoupage is the art of decorating objects with paper cutouts and paint effects. These cutouts are glued to the surface and several coats of varnish are applied to give it a lacquered finish. The finished products are so stunning that they are often mistaken to be professionally painted.

Doris Ho

Doris Ho and Debbie Ang are passionate educators and founders of My Art Piece. They believe everyone has the ability to create art. Seeking to inspire and nurture, they hope to give creative direction to others, to use art to touch lives. Their mantra to workshop participants is that one’s art should represent one’s personality. They have also obtained certification in Decoupage and Decorative Painting from TO-Do Art School in Italy; from Calambour, an established Italian firm in the production of decoupage paper, as well as the Ece Aymer Craft House in Istanbul, Turkey.

Esther Sioh

Esther Sioh is the Founder of Emmaus Handmade Workshop. She has 6 years of experience as a Decoupage and Handicraft trainer. She attained her Bachelor of Human Development University of Malaya.

She also obtained her Certificate for Decoupage 1A Course and 2A Teachers’ Course from Taiwan.
