Copperplate Calligraphy

This course uses traditional dip pen and ink for century-old skill of calligraphic writing in the Copperplate script. Through hands-on, relaxing and meditative practice, they will gain sound and foundational understanding and techniques of traditional Copperplate calligraphy and to execute lowercase and uppercase letters in the lyrical, flowing Copperplate script. Participants will learn to identify the Copperplate script’s unique features and execute this classic hand using a traditional pointed pen and ink. Perfect for absolute beginners, or self-taught calligraphy enthusiasts who want a systematic way to learn and improve their writing.
