This is an 8-week course which offers participants, particularly senior citizens, valuable lifestyle and natural healing guides. The course educates the public on using Chinese medicine to enhance their ability to manage their health and that of their families. It covers TCM principles, herbs and recipes, acupuncture and acupressure, methods of Chinese health cultivation, and the management of chronic conditions like diabetes, insomnia, gastrointestinal disorders and cardiovascular diseases.

Trainer's Profile

Prof Hong Hai

Prof Hong Hai is an Adjunct Professor at NTU and Chairman of the Renhai Centre Ltd. He had been on the academic committee of the TCM Practitioners Board. He has been teaching TCM courses in various institutes and also published four books on TCM. 

Soh Shan Bin

Ms Soh Shan Bin (BSc, BMed, MMed) has been working in the Renhai clinic from 2016 till now. She has taught TCM courses at Renhai and the Confucius Institute.

Karen Wee

Ms Karen Wee has been working in the Renhai clinic from 2012 till now. She has taught TCM courses at UniSIM, Renhai, and the Confucius Institute.

Dr Ang Koon Hwee

Dr Ang Koon Hwee is a biomedical scientist based in the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology and a registered Chinese medicine physician. He graduated from NTU double degree program in biomedical sciences and Chinese medicine and thereafter obtained a DPhil in Oncology at the University of Oxford.
