This 3-hour programme aims to equip you with a basic understanding of the art and science of baking and different baking ingredients. You will learn how to prepare any 2 of the following: Blueberry Muffins, Eggless Sesame Cookies, Brownie, Almond Cookie, Chocolate Cookie, Orange Cupcakes, Lava Cake, Cookies, Madeleines, Scones, Pound cake or Eggless gula Melaka cookies. By the end of the course, you will learn about baking ingredients, how to prepare and set up baking equipment, understand temperature control and execute and make pastry items.

Chef Eric Chiam Heng Lee is our master trainer and a passionate chef who often shares enthusiastically with others his wealth of experience from his early days of working in Singapore and Beijing.He has a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) and has trained and mentored numerous chefs over 20 years at SHATEC with much success.
