Aromatherapy for Everyday Use

This hands-on workshop will enhance your knowledge of the properties and use of essential oils (EO). Participants will be taught the care of using aromatherapy at home. As this is a practical workshop, participants can look forward to learning how to blend EOs with carrier oils and make their massage blend. Participants will acquire the skills of applying the basic techniques of hand massage. All products and materials will be provided.

Trainer's Profile

Fattimah Ally (English run)

Fattimah Ally has over 15 years of experience in training in the hospitality industry, specialising in wellness treatments like massage and facials. She has international wellness certifications from ITEC in Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy Reflexology, Stress Management and CIBTAC in Facial Services. She worked in Bhutan with Amanresorts for three years before getting transferred to Indonesia in 2006 to manage the 5 spas in the Amanresorts properties. She returned to Singapore in 2012 to share her love of teaching with students from Republic Polytechnic doing the Diploma in Wellness, Lifestyle and Spa Management course. The diploma has since been re-named Diploma in Wellness & Hospitality Business. She has a keen interest in helping students of all ages develop their potential.

Carol Goh (Mandarin run)

Carol Goh stepped into the world of beauty after graduating from NTU, embracing cosmetic brands such as Bourjois and Maybelline where she strategised and managed the brands’ marketing, sales and profitability. To gain a more holistic view of beauty and wellness, she took up ITEC Diplomas in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage as well as Aromatherapy. This led Carol to the second phase of her journey as she stepped into the fitness, spa and beauty industry where she managed Phillip Wain, an exclusive ladies’ fitness and beauty club, helping women find wellness solutions and lead a healthier lifestyle. Carol entered teaching at Republic Polytechnic to share her knowledge in spa therapies, wellness business operations and customer service. 

自南洋理工大学毕业后,Carol 投身于美妆界,分别在知名品牌Bourjois 与 Maybelline 担任重要职位,负责拟定产品营销策略以及管理品牌的销售业绩。为了更全面的了解美妆与保健行业,她也在职进修并取得了ITEC 文凭,涵盖了人体生理学、按摩以及香薰疗法的专业知识。专业文凭毕业后,Carol 开启了职业生涯的第二阶段,加入了健体、水疗与美容行业。她负责管理独家服务女性客户的美容健体俱乐部 – Phillip Wain,帮助女性通过运动与美疗找到健康与自信。现在,Carol 是Republic Polytechnic的全职讲师,教导与分享她在相关行业的技术与经验,包括了水疗按摩,保健美疗中心的营运作业以及客户服务。
