This 10-week course is designed to provide an insight to the targeted language and understanding of its culture. Participants will further develop their reading, writing, and conversational skills. This Level 6 course builds on what students have learnt in Vietnamese Level 5.

Trainer's Profile

Thach Ngoc Minh

Thach Ngoc Minh is currently a lecturer and the Convenor for Vietnamese Programme at the Centre for Language Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. He studied Literature in Vietnam . He obtained his M.A. at NUS and B.A. (Hons) in literature and comparative linguistics at the University of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). He joined NUS in 1996 as full-time tutor with the Southeast Asian Studies Programme. Prior to joining NUS, he taught Vietnamese language at University of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Phnom Penh University (Cambodia).
