Trainer's Profile

Michelle Yeo

Michelle Yeo has a Master of Social Science (Counselling) degree and has more than 20 years of working experience as a Counsellor, Trainer and Expressive Arts Consultant/Educator in the community and social services sectors. Michelle has demonstrated a strong desire to work with elderly and has been recognized with different various awards such as National Youth Award (volunteering group) from NCSS, Commonwealth Award and The President Citation awarded by Dr Wee Kim Wee, President of the Republic of Singapore for the voluntary works on the elderly care project. 

Michelle had also completed the course of "Introduction to Geragogy Guidelines “organized by Council for Third Age (C3A). She is currently a Trainer and Content Developer with the Learning Room, Tsao Foundation. During the Covid-19 pandemic period, Michelle has published a picture book named “What’s Going On?” “糖奶奶在我身体里“ and is available in libraries for public reading.

Evelyn Chng

Evelyn Chng holds a Master of Science in Applied Gerontology from NTU. She is a certified ACTA trainer and has completed the "introduction to Geragogy Guidelines' organized by C3A.

She has seven years of experience as a facilitator for caregivers and as a trainer on varied topics like mental health, dementia and self-care. 

She is a strong advocate for mental health and dementia. Her personal journey as a caregiver to her son and mother for the past twelve years makes her a speaker with a message of hope to share.
