Silver Companions: Empowering Volunteers to Support Community Seniors

This course is designed to equip volunteers with effective befriending techniques to work together with their respective social service agencies to actively reach out to vulnerable seniors within the community to prevent social isolation, effectively help seniors with the needs and concerns, and build lasting and meaningful relationships with fellow seniors, motivating them to active actively and healthily in Singapore.

Additionally, Don is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and has earned an Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA). His extensive background as a social worker has equipped him with a profound understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by older individuals, allowing him to effectively advocate for compassionate care and systemic change within the community.
