This course is designed to equip volunteers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively engage with seniors in the context of eldercare and community care in Singapore.
Seniors who are interested to become volunteers will gain a comprehensive understanding of the landscape of eldercare and community care services, including an in-depth look at Active Ageing Centre services.
They will also explore the diverse senior profiles and challenges faced by seniors in Singapore, enabling them to approach their volunteer work with empathy and insight.

He holds a Master of Social Work from the Singapore University of Social Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Melbourne. Additionally, Don is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and has earned an Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA). His extensive background as a social worker has equipped him with a profound understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by older individuals, allowing him to effectively advocate for compassionate care and systemic change within the community.
