In this course, participants will be introduced to the background and history of Mosaic Art and the various artists' works. The various techniques taught include relief, trencadis, and direct mosaic techniques in forming Mosaic coasters and fridge magnets. Participants will be introduced to Elements of Art (Shape/Texture/Colour) and Principals of Design (Balance/Emphasis/Repetition) in helping them to compose, assemble and form their Mosaic Art Projects.

Danica Yip
Angie Ong has teacher certifications from Thailand, Turkey and Russia. She has taken mosaic course conducted by Gary Drostle, mosaic artist and lecturer at the Chicago Mosaic School. Danica Yip is full time art and craft instructor. She is a certified instructor for Decoupage, Zentangle, Pastel Art and Silver Art Clay. Jacquelyn Soo is a Fine Arts graduate from LASALLE College of the Arts. She has been an Art Teacher for the past 16 years.
