Explore the various herbs and spices found in Asian food – their sources, flavours and uses, and find out why plants produce substances with flavour. Discover how the effects of these substances relate to past and present uses – from cooking to gardening and more! Guess mystery herbs and spices by their scent, savour a flavourful snack, and learn about the sense of smell and taste: how they change with age, and how you can still enjoy your food despite this. Last but not least, take a leisurely stroll around the Ecogarden to admire the various herb and spice plants. A menu of activities awaits you!
