Singing Skills (Level 2)

Learners acquire pop singing skills and apply them as a soloist after learning from this Module. The outcome includes being able to develop a positive habit of vocal maintenance and singing regularly at social or commercial events. The course will teach participants essential singing and performance skills and demonstrate through a baseline singing demonstration. Participants will then do a mid-course performance and be provided analysis from industry experts before doing a final performance.

Desmond Moey is the Managing Director of Serendip Showbiz Pte Ltd and a Board Member of Musical Theatre Ltd (IPC Arts Charity). His impressive background includes degrees in Engineering and Mass Communications (OCU, USA), an MBA (NUS), and a forthcoming Master of Arts in Songwriting (Berklee College of Music, April 2025). A prolific songwriter and show producer (musicals, concerts, events), Desmond's expertise encompasses vocal coaching, education, social-tech innovation, and creating original music for numerous homegrown musicals, including Emily the Musical, Lim Boon Keng, Peter & Pierre, and Merlion the Musical.
