Therapeutic Dog Massage

Canine Massage Therapy is a wonderful way to build and strengthen your relationship with your dog. Chances are, once your dog realizes how good a massage feels, he’ll come to look forward to the treatment, and will associate you with being the one who provides it. The massaging can help to establish a bond between an owner and a new dog, or it can build on an existing relationship with your pet. Canine massage is a branch of alternative therapy that promotes health in dogs. Specifically, the benefits of which may include relaxation, increased oxygenation, relief from pain, improved joint flexibility, as well as benefits to the immune system. This hands-on course has been designed for all those with a love of dogs and an interest in improving their health and wellbeing with the gentle but powerful therapy of massage.

Ms Gayathiri d/o Elampathri

Ms Gayathri worked as a freelance groomer and stylist in pet shops and has diverse experience and knowledge on styling different dog breeds. She also worked as a Veterinary Nurse and did Wellness Grooming and Medical Grooming for patients who are sick, injured or handicapped. Ms Gayathiri is currently a Head Veterinary Nurse and has also obtained a Certificate in Myofunctional Massage Therapy for Animals and Diploma in Animal Physiotherapy.  

Karen

Karen has worked in clinical research for more than 20 years and helped hundreds of dogs relieve pain and improve joint mobility through her calm and soothing touch. Karen introduced her proprietary “PFL Touch”, which combines both her skills in massage and TTouch. The “PFL Touch” promotes faster recovery for many of her doggy clients.
