Mindfulness and clarity of mind are key tools to build resilience and achieve healthy ageing. The course is taught by 2 medical doctors who are also teachers of mindfulness. This practical and evidence-based course combines established mindfulness-based self-care practices, health sciences, gerontology and clinical medicine. Through a series of 2 workshops, participants will learn the basic knowledge and skills in self-care based on mindfulness, and how it can be applied in health promotion and successful ageing.

Dr Choo Wei Chieh, MBBS (Singapore) qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, has taught mindfulness courses in research, corporate and community settings, including an 8 week MBSR, 8 week MBTI (Mindfulness Based Therapy for Insomnia) and bespoke mindfulness workshops for corporates.
