Home Business - Legal and Operational Considerations

Participants will learn how to run a business from home legally and its operational considerations in hopes to encourage participants to begin their own home businesses. By the end of the course, participants will understand the various regulations, registration processes and intellectual property protection regulations needed for home businesses. Participants will also explore import law and GST, how to tap into government assistance and other types of funding and operational considerations to keep in mind.
