Design Thinking is a user-centric approach that evaluates issues through emotive lenses. This course aims to help you develop an inquiring mind by exposing you to the concepts of design thinking. Participants will identify opportunities for change by understanding users' needs and wants. Potential solutions will be generated through divergent thinking and participants will collaborate to solve a problem, leading to the rapid prototyping of an assistive technology product.

Zulkifli Mohd Din
Zulkifli Mohd Din is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering in Nanyang Polytechnic since 1997. He is a member of the school’s Creativity & Innovation Award team that actively promotes innovation and enterprise activities to the NYP community and educational partners. He had developed and facilitated customized “Design Thinking Workshop” since 2015 for several secondary and primary school staff to enable them to run their schools’ STEM Applied Learning Programme.
