Sensory threshold changes with age. This course aims to help participants to discover the changes in their taste perception as they grow older. They will understand how ageing alters their taste perception and eating patterns, ultimately leading to chronic health conditions.

ii. Sensory test activities
iii. Food choices and eating habits with taste change
iv. Cooking for elderly with chronic health conditions

Gladys Chu has over ten years of experience as a clinical dietitian. With her profound knowledge and skills in Nutrition Care Process, she has effectively delivered medical nutrition therapy to patients with various clinical conditions such as diabetes, heart problems, liver and gastrointestinal diseases.
Gladys enjoys nutrition education and the training of students and dietitians. She is a passionate nutrition educator with eight years of experience in teaching & learning at an Institute of Higher Learning. She is committed to excellent service and high standards of teaching.
