This packaged course aims to inspire and build participants' confidence in growing their own food. The course will also equip participants with the practical knowledge and skills to start a successful garden and maintain healthy plants throughout their gardening journey. 

 

  1. Grow Your Own Food Series: Beginner Gardener's Guide to Starting a Productive Edible Garden (6hrs)
    This programme provides practical information on starting a garden successfully, from choosing the right plants, soil type, how to water correctly, propagation methods, proper tools, and basics on plant nutrition, pests and diseases to observe for. Participants will come out of this workshop inspired and confident about growing their own food.

  2. Grow Your Own Food Series: Beginner's Guide to Vermicomposting (3hrs)
    This workshop will allow participants to understand different kinds of worms, how to choose vermicomposting worms, how to set up and care for a worm bin and how to harvest vermicast to be used in their edible gardens. Participants will learn to champion sustainability by upcycling their food waste.
