This 2-day workshop equips caregivers with essential knowledge and practical skills to support care recipients' ongoing rehabilitation post-discharge. Participants will learn to recognize evolving care needs, apply physiotherapy techniques, and manage assistive devices effectively. Emphasis is placed on preventing caregiver fatigue, motivating care recipients, and maintaining a balanced approach to care that fosters independence. Caregivers will also develop communication strategies to advocate for optimal care with healthcare providers. A seasoned physiotherapist will guide hands-on practice and help participants build a responsive care plan for long-term well-being.
