Intergenerational Bonding (IGB) AwardsThe inaugural IGB Awards 2009 aim to encourage organisations to develop new programmes that promote intergenerational bonding and at the same time, recognise exemplary IG programmes that are being implemented. Funded under the Golden Opportunities (GO!) Fund administered by C3A, the Intergenerational Bonding (IGB) Awards recognise the significance of cross-generation interaction as an integral part of society as well as the synergistic role it plays in the promotion of active ageing. The IGB Awards will provide a platform for organisations to share their experience and be an inspiration to others in developing intergenerational programmes for Singapore. Who Can Apply This award is open to all organisations (private, self-help or not-for-profit) based in Singapore. Submission of Proposals Proposals should highlight practical approaches to address intergenerational issues in three categories: Family, Workplace and Community. The following criteria must be met:
All proposals should be submitted via the GO! Fund online application form. Please indicate IGB in brackets after your project title e.g. “Training Seniors to be Life Coaches to Secondary School Students (IGB)”.
Deadline for Submission: 25 Nov 2009 Selection
There will be a public voting component comprising 30% of the total score, in addition to assessment by a judging panel (70%). Projects will be announced to the public for public voting in November 2009. Final evaluation and selection of winners will be conducted in January 2010 by the judging panel. Awards Winners |
