About Council for Third Age (C3A)
Set up in May 2007, Council for Third Age is an independent body that promotes active ageing, so that seniors can achieve a better quality of life in all the six dimensions of wellness - social, intellectual, physical, vocational, emotional and spiritual. The Council plays a leadership role in driving the thrust towards creating an active ageing culture in Singapore, and partners businesses and community organisations to develop products and services that fulfill the needs and interests of seniors.

About National University of Singapore (NUS)
The National University of Singapore (NUS) was corporatised as a not-for-profit university company in April 2006, thereby having greater flexibility to respond nimbly to the dynamic higher education landscape as well as to foster a sense of ownership among the stakeholders in shaping the destiny of the University together. Once a respected teaching institution, NUS is now a global university fulfilling a dual mission of teaching and research. Beyond producing graduate manpower, NUS today embraces a greater focus on nurturing talent and building intellectual capital. In tandem, NUS has grown to become a major player in the global arena of research universities. NUS now competes neck-and-neck with leading universities for faculty and students for whom pursuing excellence is second nature.
