Tatting uses shuttle and thread to form delicate lace patterns. It has also been utilized in occupational therapy to keep convalescent patients’ hands and minds active during recovery, as documented, for instance, in Betty MacDonald’s The Plague & I. This course give participants the opportunity to train left and right hand coordintaion too.

INTRODUCTION TO STORYTELLING WORKSHOP

If you are interested in storytelling, but don’t know where to start, this is the workshop for you. This nine-hour workshop (over two Saturdays) will give complete beginners a firm grounding in storytelling skills. This workshop is for anyone interested in learning to tell stories: whether at work or at home, to adults or children, just for fun, or as a step towards telling professionally.

You will receive step-by-step guidance in learning to tell a story without rote memorisation, adding details to make the story uniquely yours, as well as rehearsal and performance techniques.

亲子兵法 - 青春期

教导青少年孩子是父母的一大挑战,父母可以从不同的观点来思考青少年的成长困境,以关怀的心来帮助他们,陪他们一同经历成长的路,负上应付的责任及扮演好自己的角色。

飞跃亲子兵法青春期第一系列共有四课,每一课是一个钟头半。透过此课程,父母能够更好的了解青少年孩子,与他们建立良好的关系,并掌握正确及有效的管教技巧。

课程内容

第一课:了解青少年的成长与需要
帮助父母了解青少年在生理、认知、情绪、群性、及自我的发展,并认识和警觉青少年在这些发展中被引导、交朋友,成长空间及被爱的四大需要。

第二课:如何与青少沟通
帮助家长了解自己与孩子之间的沟通障碍,并学习改进技巧以达致更佳的亲子关系。

第三课:管教的沟通
这一课主要强调‘表达’的技巧,使我们在管教时,孩子能侧耳聆听,达到更好的管教效果。

第四课:管教的原则
一同讨论管教的真正意义,并介绍自然与合理后果的纠正方式,以取代儿童期的赏罚方式。帮助青少年孩子建立独立负责的态度,并为自己的行为承担合理的代价。
